The iron water refining agent is composed of various deoxidizers, desulfurizers, fluxes and heat-conducting agents. It can be rapidly dissolved in the high-temperature molten iron. After a series of metallurgical reactions and physical adsorption processes, it can significantly improve the purity of the molten iron, enhance the metallurgical quality of the molten iron, and thereby improve the comprehensive quality of the castings. 

The iron water refining agent has the characteristics of low dosage, less smoke and dust, high purification efficiency and less molten iron cooling. It is a very effective metallurgical additive when producing high-quality castings.

（1）It can significantly reduce the dissolved hydrogen and nitrogen in the molten iron, thereby lowering the risk of nitrogen pores, hydrogen pores or nitrogen-hydrogen mixed pores forming in the castings.

（2）Effectively remove non-metallic inclusions such as oxides, sulfides and carbides from the molten iron, significantly improve the purity and fluidity of the molten iron, and enhance the density of the castings.

（3）Effectively improve the response ability during the molten iron molding process, thereby achieving refinement of the casting structure, enhancing the tensile strength and toughness of the casting, and improving the processing performance.

The Usage Method of Iron Water Refining Agent

（1）When using the electric furnace, after adding 0.1 to 0.2% of iron water refining agent on the surface of the electric furnace, perform electromagnetic stirring and let it stand. Then, use the special slag removal tools to remove the floating slag on the surface.

（2）When using in the ladle, add 0.1 to 0.2% of iron water refining agent to the bottom of the ladle. After pouring, let it stand for 15 to 25 seconds, and then use a special slag removal tool to remove the surface slag.

（3）To prevent the iron melt refining agent from getting damp, it should be packaged in woven bags and then placed in the furnace or the bag. Ensure that the weighing is accurate and consistent.
